Hannah’s story

Hannah is largely a self-taught artist who gathers inspiration for her work from the British countryside and past travels to Africa, most notably Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe. A love of colour is omnipresent in her life and work, lending her paintings a vibrancy which has quickly become synonymous with them.

Having grown up on a farm, livestock, dogs and horses have been constants in Hannah’s life and are commonly chosen subjects. She feels that an understanding of - and affinity to - these animals helps her to do their characters justice on the canvas.

Since making her hobby her career in late 2018, Hannah works from her studio in Wiltshire and has paintings hanging in homes in New York, Nairobi and Adelaide. She is represented by Wills Art Warehouse in London and has just done her first solo exhibition in Ramsbury and is already planning her next.

I just wanted to let you know that my parents were absolutely thrilled with the painting. When Susie saw it she burst into tears! You captured Piper’s spirit perfectly… best Christmas present ever!
