This trio of elephants has been painted in oil on linen, inspired by my recent travels within Kenya. I worked from a photograph that I took whilst in Tsavo East, an area renowned for its bright red dust. The golden acrylic ink has been applied with a guinea fowl feather to ground them and add more context (and magic!).

This painting measures 50×40cm.
