Pass the Giraffe Campaign aims to spread cheer

November 05, 2020

In a bid to spread cheer during these unprecedented times, Hannah has launched her #passthegiraffe campaign. Some prints have been made up of her neon original, George the Giraffe, which is now hanging in its new home in the Cotswolds.

The prints have been selling well and in a matter of weeks, people have passed the giraffe across the UK and further afield - Australia and Singapore at the time of writing.

The idea is simple; simply send the details of a friend who would like to receive a print, and we will pass a giraffe on to them in the post. If it is a nice surprise (!), we hope that they will do the same thing and #passthegiraffe on to an unsuspecting friend of theirs.

The prints have been carefully produced by Richard Greenly’s in Hungerford on 350g fine art paper, and come beautifully mounted and wrapped ready to fit through the letterbox and into a 8 x 10 inch frame. Each print costs just £30 and this includes UK First Class postage.

£5 of every print sale will go to David Shepherd Wildlife to help them with their conservation work, so please make someone’s day, spread the world and #passthegiraffe by contacting Hannah on hannah@hannahtreliving.com

I have a few of these cheery neon mounted prints left in stock.

Brighten your walls with Katherine the Penguin, Oscar the Ostrich, Gerald the Giraffe, George the Giraffe My latest commission, what a beautiful dog. People’s expressions are often a bit disparaging when I say I paint horses and dogs. Perhaps because it’s a bit of a cliche, and a lot of other people do it. But I love doing it; they all differ A little Monday morning inspection from my Quality Controller before putting this piece on the website 🫡 . Here are a few stills of my latest piece. I have painted a few other owls since I decided to give this artist thing a go, including one on a similar coloured background for my All Things Bright and Beautiful exhibition two years ago.

This piece hasn’t flowed as I had perhaps hoped, but I think I am finally getting there with the help of my palette knife to add some texture. Full shot to come when I am feeling brave and better about it all, and then I will a
