Pass the Giraffe Campaign aims to spread cheer

November 05, 2020

In a bid to spread cheer during these unprecedented times, Hannah has launched her #passthegiraffe campaign. Some prints have been made up of her neon original, George the Giraffe, which is now hanging in its new home in the Cotswolds.

The prints have been selling well and in a matter of weeks, people have passed the giraffe across the UK and further afield - Australia and Singapore at the time of writing.

The idea is simple; simply send the details of a friend who would like to receive a print, and we will pass a giraffe on to them in the post. If it is a nice surprise (!), we hope that they will do the same thing and #passthegiraffe on to an unsuspecting friend of theirs.

The prints have been carefully produced by Richard Greenly’s in Hungerford on 350g fine art paper, and come beautifully mounted and wrapped ready to fit through the letterbox and into a 8 x 10 inch frame. Each print costs just £30 and this includes UK First Class postage.

£5 of every print sale will go to David Shepherd Wildlife to help them with their conservation work, so please make someone’s day, spread the world and #passthegiraffe by contacting Hannah on hannah@hannahtreliving.com

People’s expressions are often a bit disparaging when I say I paint horses and dogs. Perhaps because it’s a bit of a cliche, and a lot of other people do it. But I love doing it; they all differ A little Monday morning inspection from my Quality Controller before putting this piece on the website 🫡 . Here are a few stills of my latest piece. I have painted a few other owls since I decided to give this artist thing a go, including one on a similar coloured background for my All Things Bright and Beautiful exhibition two years ago.
More wings on the easel today! I have been thinking about painting these golden swallows for some time and it’s finally happening. More pics to follow shortly… ✨

This piece hasn’t flowed as I had perhaps hoped, but I think I am finally getting there with the help of my palette knife to add some texture. Full shot to come when I am feeling brave and better about it all, and then I will a Introducing Welby! A beautiful spaniel commission and my 114th dog portrait. This one is on a 30cm square linen canvas board and is heading back to hang in a houseboat in London, what a lovely thought! 🤎

Two bespoke-sized prints from my neon collection looking pretty smart and adding a splash of colour here! I love it when folk send me pictures of my work in situ. There are more available and they can be bought through my website…

https://ww Without doubt the best holiday we have had as a family of four (Fuerteventura was a close second, 😱!). I am sorry for the radio silence but a very belated happy new year to you all. We have made the move to Kenya and my easel has finally arrived so The crested crane looking pretty cool against these yellow walls… what a gorgeous commission this one was. As we near the end of 2024 I have been thinking about my year’s achievements and pitfalls (!), and cannot wait to increase the pro A little close-up of my swan song commission before we head off to Kenya! How apt that it should be an African crowned crane. Full shot to follow but I thought its striking golden crest/crown deserved a spot on the grid… 👑 🇰🇪

#artistsonin Throwback to August 2020… it was lockdown, my hair needed a cut, I was pregnant and I remember feeling chuffed with these big cat commissions. What a strange time that was for us all, and time has certainly flown by since then! 💥
